Greetings to our supporters!

The Thornton Veterans Memorial project continues on toward its goal to honor our veterans!

cid:image003.gif@01C78251.EA630BF0  TVMF Endorses ALL Candidates.  Tomorrow is election day and the Thornton Veterans Memorial wholeheartedly endorses the political process that represents the very cornerstone of this great nation. We are happy to see so many individuals willing to step forward and run for political office and serve the citizens of Thornton and we endorse all of their efforts. We also encourage everyone to take part in the election – VOTE!  If you haven’t already done so, please fill out your ballot and drop it off and one of the drop locations!  This is but one way you can honor our veterans.

cid:image002.gif@01C6CD77.8CB321F0  Do some Christmas shopping, help the memorial and give a unique gift! This is an opportunity for you accomplish three things very easily.  TVMF offers a variety of logoed merchandise for sale that would make wonderful gifts this holiday season.  Perhaps most notably and a truly special gift indeed are the paver bricks.  These 4" X 8" and 8" X 8" paver bricks can be purchased and engraved with a message from a citizen or veteran and will be used to make up the walkways at the memorial. They will serve as a perpetual reminder of how much the contributions of veterans meant to this country and the city and are a great way to say thank you to our veterans.  The bricks make a truly unique gift and we will provide you with a Certificate of Appreciation that you can give to the recipient to open on the holiday!  With the holidays coming up, they are a great gift idea and remember, they are also a tax deduction! To get started, simply go to our website and click on the “Online Store” link.  We need your support!

cid:image003.gif@01C78251.EA630BF0  Next Meeting, Monday, November 5 (today) @ 7:00pm at the Thornton Civic Center.  Our meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month but due to the Labor Day holiday, September’s meeting will be postponed one week.  This project is a community project and we wholeheartedly encourage anyone who is interested to attend to learn more and if so inclined, to join us in helping to make the project a reality.  For future reference, our next meeting after today will be Monday, December 3rd.

cid:image003.gif@01C78251.EA630BF0  See what is happening on our event calendar!  Be sure to watch our event calendar that shows all of our meetings and TVMF related functions. We will also keep it up to date with other veterans’ related events. To view the calendar, just click the Event Calendar link in the Action Center section of any page on our web site.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!  Thank you for your continued support!
