The keynote address was delivered by Colorado Secretary of State Mike Coffman, himself a decorated combat veteran. |

| 07-04-07 - Thornton Veterans Memorial at Thornton's Independence Day Celbration. As always the Thornton Veterans Memorial participated in the city's 4th of July celebration. A tent was on site to provide more information to the community and Tony Hake, TVMF Chairman, gave the opening address and reminded those in attendance that freedom isn't free. |

| 04-23-2007 - Thornton Veterans Memorial Legislative Steering Committee Introduces Resolution. Working with our Legislative Steering Committee, a resolution was introducted in the Colorado legislature asking for Colorado Lottery funds to be used for the construction of veterans memorials. |
